It is essential that these systems have a complete water treatment regime in place in order to prevent corrosion, scaling and microbiological fouling. HSWH have the skilled technicians and a range of chemicals to provide you with peace of mind that the closed water systems within your building have the best possible protection. Our water treatment technicians will attend site on a regular basis to carry out on site analysis to ensure that the chemical levels are within the correct parameters and top up chemical levels as and when required. We also use accredited laboratories for more detailed analysis and certification if required. All onsite testing and sampling is in line with BSRIA Guildlines and BSI BS8552
To ensure that your domestic water systems comply with HSG274 guidance it is essential for building owners to have a strict water hygiene programme in place in order to minimise the risk of Legionella and other bacteria proliferation within the storage tank and pipework systems.
HSWH is accredited with the LCA (Legionella Control Association) Our fully trained technical staff are able to carry out cold water storage tank and associated water services disinfections to current industry standards and provide full certification. This work is normally carried out outside normal office hours and therefore has no impact on office staff. Our technicians also carry out routine temperature checks of the cold water storage tanks to confirm that the incomming supply and storage of the water does not exceed 20 C.
Our technicians are also qualified to carry out and provide your building with L8 Water Treatment Risk Assessments.
